About

Bit by Bit is an organization that spreads awareness about microplastics. More specifically, after recent studies found microplastics in the human body, we decided to take a stand and to research and educate others about the dangers of microplastics and how we can avoid them.

A bit about me…

My name is Shona Ray, 12 years old, and I am the founder of Bit by Bit. After presenting a report about Ocean Pollution in school, I began to further research the threats of microplastics. They are a current, global problem that is growing rapidly and threatens our ecosystem. My goal for this platform is to raise awareness and educate others about microplastics and the threats they pose to our society.
